CSZ Chambers used at General Motors Battery Lab

Cincinnati Sub-Zero (CSZ) environmental chambers play an important role in the development of electric vehicles. The chambers are a critical element in testing batteries that are sensitive to temperature and humidity. Environmental testing is performed on batteries used in electric cars. Safety and reliability testing is performed to verify the battery will hold up in all types of weather from extreme cold to high temperature and humidity of peak summer months.
