Altitude Chambers

CSZ Altitude Test Chambers are engineered for precise environmental simulation, combining temperature, altitude, and optional humidity control in a single system. Designed to replicate real-world operating conditions, these chambers simulate environments from sea level to extreme high-altitude conditions up to 100,000 feet (8.2 Torr), with optional capabilities reaching 175,000 feet (.37 Torr). This flexibility enables accurate testing of components, assemblies, and full systems across aerospace, defense, automotive, and electronics industries.

These chambers may also be used as temperature/humidity cycling chambers for greater return on your investment.

What is an altitude test chamber?

An altitude test chamber is an environmental simulation system that replicates high-altitude conditions by reducing air pressure while controlling temperature and, optionally, humidity. These chambers are used to evaluate how products perform in low-pressure environments such as those experienced during flight or high-elevation operation.

What types of products are tested in altitude chambers?

  • Altitude chambers are used to test:
  • Avionic components
  • Electronic components and assemblies
  • Sensors and control systems
  • Batteries and power systems
  • Sealed or pressure-sensitive products
