Z-Plus Standard Features

Listed below are the standard features that are available on Z-Plus test chambers.

Cabinet Features

	Access Port Each Z-Plus test chamber includes two, 4" access ports and plugs centered on the left and right sides for ease of cable routing. Additional circular, square, or rectangular ports are also available in a variety of sizes.
	Adjustable Product Shelf One adjustable product shelf slides out to provide easier access to your product. The new shelf design is non-tipping and supports large product loads.
	Stainless Steel Interior All liners are constructed from Type 304 brushed stainless steel that is easy to clean. All seams are continuously heliarc welded to form a hermetically sealed unit to prevent moisture migration.
	Chamber Exterior The chamber exterior is constructed of formed sheet steel for structural strength and finished with a durable powder coat finish or textured polyurethane paint. Customer specified paint combinations are available upon request.
	Casters & Leveling Legs Compact size and casters let you move the test chamber throughout your lab with leveling legs that allow you to secure and level your chamber. Casters are heavy duty swivel type designed for long life under heavy loading.
	Fog-Free Viewing Window & Light A multi-pane, heated window prevents condensation and allows for product viewing. Interior light illuminates chamber workspace and product.

Instrumentation Features

Touch Screen Controller The CSZ EZT-560i Touch Screen Controller includes unlimited profiling each with 99 steps, looping, product monitor, and data storage. Comes standard with data logging, data file access via memory stick, Ethernet control and monitoring, alarm notification via email or phone text message, data file backup system, full system security and more.

Refrigeration Features

	Refrigeration Pressure Gauges Allows operating pressures to be continuously monitored and provides early warning indicators in the event of a leak.
	Zero Ozone Depletion Refrigerants CSZ test chambers utilize refrigerants which are environmentally safe, non-flammable, non-explosive and have a Zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP).

Z-Plus Optional Accessories

Listed below are the options that are available on CSZ Z-Plus test chambers.

Cabinet Options

	Additional Access Ports Additional circular, square, or rectangular ports are available in a variety of sizes. Ports may be placed on both sides of the chamber for ease of cable routing.
	Glove Ports Two feed through ports, typically placed in chamber door, with protective gloves designed to reach in chamber and turn off/on test devices while chamber is in operation.
	Cable Notch If routing cables through side ports is not an option for you, a cable notch may be placed in the front of your chamber.
	Shelving Additional product shelves are available for each CSZ chamber. Custom shelves and fixtures are also available.
	Stainless Steel Exterior If you prefer a chamber with stainless steel exterior, CSZ can include this as an option on any chamber you request.

Instrumentation Options

	Windows-Based Software Package CSZ EZ-View software is available for monitoring and controlling up to 20 chambers from any location.
	Redundant Temperature Limit & Alarm Provides essential failsafe over/under (hi/low) temperature protection for your valuable test items.
	IEEE-488 Computer Interface A parallel interface can be provided for interface with IEEE-488 parallel instrument control buss. A standard IEEE-488 connector is provided for easy connection to adjacent test equipment.
	Chart Recorders A selection of one or two pen chart recorders are available with a variety of pre-printed charts or self printing thermal charts.
	Running Time Meter The optional run time meter includes a non-resettable display which will accumulate the system running time for routine maintenance and planning purposes.
	Main Power Disconnect Provides an additional level of safety by shutting down the main power to the chamber prior to maintenance or repair.
	Customer Event Option (Digital Outputs) Includes 15 event outputs with connection panel & removable plug connectors. Designed to turn customer’s electronic DUT’s (devices under test) ON or OFF at various stages of the customer programmed test profile. Each output may also be configured to perform other operations including alarm or profile status indicators.
	Digital Input Option Includes connection panel and 8 inputs that can be configured to perform various controller functions (i.e. start, hold, resume or terminate a profile, advance steps, control customer event outputs, etc.)
	Optional F4 Controller CSZ F4 Programmable Controller with Product Monitor, redundant high/low limit and EIA 232/485 Computer Interface. Replaces EZT-560i and mounts on a special fixture below the door.

Performance & Refrigeration Options

	CO2/LN2 Boost Cooling Boost cooling is available for applications that require a fast pulldown rate.
	CO2/LN2 Cooling Only CO2/LN2 cooled chambers are available without mechanical refrigeration for lower initial costs on applications requiring ultra low temperatures down to -300°F.
	Dry Air Purge System A dry air purge system can be provided to reduce condensation within the chamber and on the test item during temperature cycling testing. This option is primarily used to prevent short circuits in electronic components and is also used for low humidity requirements.
	Remote Refrigeration Allows the testing chamber refrigeration system to be located approximately 50 feet away from the chamber. This option is commonly used for labs with space restrictions or to minimize noise levels.
	Refrigeration Sound Deadening Although CSZ chambers are quiet operating, sound foam is available as an option to further reduce the noise generated by the refrigeration system. This option is commonly used in larger chambers.

Humidity Options

	Recirculating Humidity Water Supply For customers that do not have a dionized water supply, CSZ provides a recirculating water system that collects condensate from the chamber, filters it, and stores it in a reservoir for reuse.
	Low Relative Humidity For tests requiring humidity levels below 10% RH, CSZ provides an optional low humidity system for testing down to 5% RH.
	Humidity Demineralizer Water Filter System Demineralizer removes water impurities and minerals that can harm your test chamber. Cartridges will turn orange-brown when used and are easily replaceable. Spare Water Demineralizer Cartridges Additional demineralizer cartridges are available for overnight delivery. Cartridges will turn orange-brown when used and are easily replaceable.
