Freeze/Thaw Climatic Chambers

CSZ’s Freeze/Thaw climatic chamber is comprised of two systems. The first system hosts the samples to be exposed and the second chamber holds, pumps and temperature conditions the fluid. The climatic chamber has capability to automatically perform Procedure A of ASTM Specification C666-80. This particular chamber is used to freeze/thaw concrete test samples. This particular chamber was designed to house sixty (60) 3” x 4” x 16” long concrete specimens weighing 17 lbs. each.

Note: Freezing and Thawing is accomplished by a 50/50 water/glycol solution from the reservoirs.

0ºF (-17.7ºC) to +40ºF (+4.4ºC)
