CSZ Solar Panel Testing Chambers Provide
Up To 66% Energy Savings
CSZ's new solar
panel testing chambers can provide up to 66% energy saving
using CSZ's patented Tundra system. These chambers meet temperature
cycling, damp heat and humidity freeze test specifications
for solar panel testing.
Cincinnati Sub-Zero supplies Environmental Chambers
to the General Motors Battery Test Lab
Cincinnati
Sub-Zero (CSZ) was selected as the main Environmental Test
Chamber Supplier for the new General Motors (GM) Battery Test
Lab which officially opened in June 2009. The facility tests
battery packs, energy cells and modules.
A total of 34 environmental test chambers were sold to GM
including (6) modular walk in chambers, (12) welded walk-in
chambers and (16) temperature/humidity cycling chambers for
hot and cold temperature & humidity testing. A significant
amount of testing is being applied to the lithium ion battery
pack for their new electric Chevrolet Volt which is planned
to be launched in November 2010. The walk-in chambers can
hold up to four Volt battery packs at time and the smaller
test chambers can hold 2 battery packs. Using environmental
chambers helps significantly reduce their testing time.
CSZ is helping our customers create a cleaner environment
& develop alternative energy saving products. See
the various energy-saving products that are tested in CSZ
environmental chambers.
Our
VTS-1 compact
thermal shock chamber provides superior performance
and small footprint coupled with many standard features
to provide exceptional value. The lower chamber may
also be programmed and operated as a separate temperature
cycling chamber for greater ROI.
